Book of poetry of Polina Slutskina, a contemporary Russian poet. Kraft paper, Bookbinding board. Each book is pretty much like a parcel sent to the reader. Such parcel contains drafts, sketches and graphic works created by the author.
Literary criticism and theater reviews. Series of books written by the members of the faculty of the Journalism and Creative Writing Institute, Moscow. The basic punctuation marks as a dash, a dot, ellipsis expressed as colored accents, play navigating function. Main part of the photographic illustration is placed on the fourth side of the binding. This is a hint that essence of the book content which is the most important thing, might not be always obvious.

“Proza v stolbik”, Svetlana Vasilenko. Poetry book of the contemporary Russian prosaic writer. This is an attempt to demonstrate that the author’s poetry is a sequel of her prose. Lines composing are imitated by the minimal top and bottom margins and by the book title on the cover. Thus, the title stands out from the author’s text.
Pavel Tchelitchew. Catalog of the painter’s first exhibition in Russia. Contains works of the poets belonging to the Moscow underground movement (80s of 20th century). The poems printed on the transparent paper, complement Tchelitchew’s philosophical art works and explain them in a peculiar way.
“I’m working”. One-poem book. Handmade, Bookbinding board, die-cut, UV printing. An attempt to visualize a text in the most literal way.
Series of book Fresh. Contemporary prose of young writers. There was a marketing goal to attract attention of potential buyers to the book by using simple stylistic means. Therefore the dominant part of the covers composition is not in the titles, but in deliberately provocative image, which submits the whole text information.
“Диапазон/Diapason”. Anthology of the contemporary Russian and German poetry. Bilingual publication in Russian and German languages. Russian and Latin alphabets are related writing systems sharing many common graphemas. However, Cyrillic alphabet contains only one umlaut “ё” ([jo]). This letter came to dominate the font composition on the book cover in a attempt to bring German and Russian poets together.
